Once again, just another woman who claims she’s independent and strong being completely mind fucked by sex. He brings her down constantly? Suck his dick? She tries to fix their problems? He only stares at her boobs. Give me a break plz

4.25/5 ⭐️

This is a huge book and at times it felt unnecessary. I loved AMKIYL and this book was just nothing in comparison unfortunately. I didn’t like the first 200 ish pages of the book and the degrading aspects of their relationship honestly kind of disgusted me. That being said, it was a quick and fun enough read I just do not feel as connected to Summer and Whit as I still do to Crew and Wren.

Awful, there’s nothing I liked about this story

if rape culture was a book.

Candid. Captivating. Heartaching. Whit and Summer are a game changer. Murphy takes all of the preconceived notions of love and blows them sky high. Things I Wanted to Say is beautiful, broken, soulful. Murphy dares to be human instead of languishing in the fairytale.

Quit chapter 9.
It was boring. I’ve read 100 books similar to this and this one didn’t stand out to me.  The writing was a bit immature. I also didn’t like how the characters were high school aged.
