I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I loved Summer and Whit. I think their relationship, though tumultuous, was a good one to read. Especially at the end. The only qualm I had was that they were so young in their first meeting, especially considering the nature of their first meeting.

DNF 58% good aesthetic, but is repetitive and only had smut

I am not one to write reviews, but this book actually infuriated me so much, it was an actual pain to get through!!
I had read a million kisses before and actually enjoyed it, so I went into this book believing that it would be a good read. At the beginning I actually enjoyed it, but after a few chapters it became sooo repetitive. Throughout the book (600+ for what, there was no plot?!) I began to hate the characters more and more. I mean, till the end Whit and Summer never had an actual conversation. The only thing defining their so-called relationship was a) their „shared darkness“ (wtf?!) and b) the same birthday
Especially Summer annoyed me so much, she just could not, for the life of god, make her mind up („Whit didn’t even try to call me“ - how was he supposed to, if you blocked him everywhere??)
I don’t even want to get into the way they discussed the »relationship« Summer and Yates had (he obviously took advantage of her…?!) - because they didn’t.
I‘m gonna stop her, however I could go on for much longer ha. In conclusion, you can just tell, that Monica Murphy spent approximately 5 minutes planning out the non-existing plot, the rest is smut

4.5 This book was really really good. I am super excited to continue reading this series. I like the whole prep school plot. This is slightly a bully romance so def should know that going into this book. I thought it was really well done, and it made me really look forward to specific characters books.
