I feel like I should give myself a strict talking to. Now I enjoy the occasional chicklit book.... This just felt a little too far... I won't be reading any others, too much dirtiness, not enough story, too predictable and totally cliché. I'll stick with T. L. Swan

Istg, Whit could not take his hands off her, like bro there were so many back to back 🌶️ scenes not that I minded but reading on the train was HARD just like Whit gor 75% of this book.

4⭐️

i think that monica murphy is a good author and i get really sucked into her work. the storylines are compelling and page turners. unfortunately i just think i wasn’t the right audience for this book. whit was just so beyond cruel to her the entire time. even down to the end he never apologized for anything. it seemed like after every time he did something awful to her they just had sex and then all was forgiven. i just found nothing redeeming about whit and summer was just not a very strong person to me either. not my favorite book but i loved a million kisses in your lifetime and i will still continue the series!

Listen. I know it's my fault that I go in blind because I refuse to read synopsis, but still.

I could get over the 17 year old main characters if they constantly didn't repeat themselves.
He treats me like shit, but I want him.
I treat her like shit, but she wants me. 🤮

The story is too YA mundane. Literally felt like I was reading a Quizilla story about her full days at school.
Yes, there's some mystery about what happened in the past for the FMC, but I should have more interest after being 4.5 hours in.

The spice scenes that did happen weren't cringe necessarily, but imagining 17 year olds just didn't do it for me.

I liked this one, but didn’t love it. Whit is a mean asshole. He’s grumpy and broody and kind of awful, but that’s what a bully romance is, so you have to be ok with that going in. I would have liked a little more plot and a smidge less spice, but that’s just my opinion. I enjoyed it and am going to finish the series.
