Me he cabreado con Whit más veces de las que debería en un libro, al principio trata a Summer como una mierda y al final se acerca a ella de la peor manera, engañándola. Dice que lo hizo porque creía que no querría verle pero ni lo había intentado antes como para saber que no quería.
Pero a ella como la trata parece que la excita muchísimo y en ningún momento dice que se vea obligada a hacer nada si no que está totalmente de acuerdo, pues oye...
Lo que si me ha parecido horrible es la forma en la que han tratado el tema del abuso del hermano, porque NO LO TRATAN. Whit cuando se entera, en vez de montar en cólera como debería, dice "lo que tuvieras con tu hermanastro"... perdona?? Hemos leído el mismo diario?? Y ya la madre es la repanocha dejando que la hija se torturara y creyera que se había cargado al hermanastro y al padrastro cuando HABÍA SIDO ELLA LA MUY HIJA DE PUTA!!!
Más allá de todo esto, que no es poco, a mi la historia me ha gustado.

Más allá de todo esto, que no es poco, a mi la historia me ha gustado.
I absolutely LOVED this book. It was heart wrenching. And beautiful. It was full of angst and love and hate. It captured me and I couldn’t put it down. I however did have a huge book hangover afterward, and I am looking into reading more from Monica Murphy, because she wrote so well. It is in the top 5 smuttiest books I’ve read, and that’s saying a lot. I devoured it. For sure a great read with a great story line.

I can't believe I finished this whole book. Whit was a total asshole up until the very end which should've put me off but somehow the story was able to keep me so engaged that I barely noticed how long the it was.
I would've liked a more of Whit and Summer getting to know each other and for the story to have more scenes of them spending time together in a manner that wasn't sexual. I liked the angst, though they absolutely did not feel like teenagers to me and most of the problems/plot stuff they encountered was a little out there.

I just cannot deal with this book rn. All the tropes are not doing it for me. Also I don’t particularly like the writing style in this book.

This cover is also very deceiving 😭 I thought this would be a cute little romance WRONG. These mfs are nasty, and they’re in HIGH SCHOOL for the majority of the book 😭 I ate it right up tho 🤭 definitely recommend 😅
