When I first started with this story I didn’t know what to expect. I did NOT expect these two dark, toxic individuals to have me wrapped around their fingers and unable to put down the book. Holy book!!!!!! Whit and Summer were so toxic bit the chemistry was off the charts!!!!!! They were so May backstory between these two and Summer had her secrets and as much as Whit pushed her she never broke. They hated each other bit everyone else saw different. Along the way they fell in love without even realizing it or noticing that the other had fell. When things went left Summer did what she had to do and Whit had some serious groveling and wore her down. Them together were a forced to be reckoned with. They protected each other fiercely and loved hard. Loved them!!!!!
This book has been on my TBR for a while, and after suffering from a MASSIVE book hangover I needed something to pull me out.
Summer Savage at 14 years old goes to a party her mother forces her to go to, it’s covered in wealthy people. As she wanders around she meets a boy who tells her that her mother is sleeping with his father, Summer is shocked to hear this as she thought her mother was in love with Jonas her step father, after all they are married and have been together for a long time.
But there is something about this boy, and when he leans in with a forcing kiss, she melts in his arms, making the kiss more tender and showing him how to be gentle.
After that night everything changes, Summer finds out that her mother is sleeping with Mr Lancaster, the boys father, and the owner of the private school Summer is now attending. And the boy she kissed, is Whit Lancaster notorious with the girls, and runs the school. He has set out to make her life miserable, but he doesn’t count on having a connection with Summer.
This book was a breath of fresh air, the writing was very well done and really enjoyed having Whit’s POV mixed in with Summer’s.
I’m really looking forward to reading more by this author.

90 % seksikohtauksia (kieltämättä hyviä) ja 10 % toksista draamaa. Todellinen guilty pleasure minkä takii jaksoinki tän 600 sivua kahlata läpi mut siis oliha tää ihan hiton huono ja monin paikoin inhottava (esim shutslamingia ja vähättelevää asennetta seksuaalista häirintää kohtaan)
2.5⭐️ there wasn’t really a plot to this book. It was “I stole your journal you must have sex with me to get it back”.
Also how is a 17 year old so so dark and what the hell was the relationship switch up between summer and her mum.

Summer and Whit had me in a chokehold the whole time. I love them a lot and still have them on my mind. I love to re-read different scenes and I cried so much at them. They put me through 2 migraines over the course of 3 days because I loved them so much. Can't wait to finally pick up the next book in the series.
