I actually really enjoyed this book!
Although I will admit it could have been a lot shorter than it is, I enjoyed whit and summers chemistry, the darkness of it. I liked how pretentious it was, how the rich live their lives. I will admit it was a little bit repetitive but I honestly didn’t mind.

I didn’t really care for the characters there was like no character development at all. It was mainly 90% smut and like 10% plot. Which I enjoy that sometimes but I thought this book was supposed to be more than just smut.

Hurt people hurt people. Two damaged teens with poor social support systems trying to figure themselves out.
There are some difficult scenes in this book. Characters that have deep levels of self loathing, in need of affirmation and love, testing their limits in risky ways. You really want them fall into the story and give them all a big hug and refer them to a therapist.
Was it perfect, no, but these characters are far from perfect, so it fits.

Aceasta este o poveste despre secrete, minciuni, trădare și răzbunare, abuz, agresiune, putere și control, așa că aceasta poate fi o poveste dificilă de citit pentru mulți cititori.
O poveste întunecată, dar si emoționantă. Personajele sunt distruse, chiar crude din cauza trecutului lor tumultuos, iar romantismul este discutabil din atat de multe puncte de vedere...
Am mai citit bully romance, dar acesta chiar nu se află printre preferatele mele. E adevarat ca autoare a construit povestea in asa fel încât să îți mențină curiozitatea și nici nu îți dai seama cat de repede zboară paginile, dar a fost totul atât de previzibil și banal încât nu ai cum să te bucuri cu adevărat de lectură.

This was a good book but the smut was repetitive and sometimes downright gross or for me just not ok. Yes, the acts they did were consensual but how he talked to her and treated her EW. These people are not a good couple they are smut addicts at like 17. Also why in the world would she go back to him? HE WAS USING HER. NO. I liked Sylvie but dang oh man could I not stand her whole I am dying speech. What medical issue did she have? Wish there were more flashbacks to Whit's life we don't really know him which could be a good thing considering how much I hate this character. Also, Summer girl just has no underwear on with her short skirt and doesn't care that everybody at SCHOOL could see her whole butt? WHAT? I wish I had that confidence when she wore that Halloween costume though that night didn't end well. Anyway again it was ok just certain things really grinded my dang gears and I wanted to DNF this book or take a nap from all this dang slang and language. Ain't nobody talks like that but ok. It was exhausting and made me feel really icky.

IT WAS INFURIATING
I loved the way Monica Murphy writes... and that's about it.
First, i don't think bully romances are for me. you're telling me that someone can call you all those insulting names and be so absolutely disgusting towards you and you can STILL fall for him?!?? like no. absolutely not.
AND THEN THE SMUT. they couldn't even have a civilized conversation without having sex!!!! like idk maybe talk?!?! it made me so mad. like i'm telling yall at least 80% of this book was SEX!!!
