It was an interesting story, but at times it dragged, which made hard to continue reading. Other than that, I enjoyed this book.

1...Firstly, Eve/MOTHer was way too similar to Eve from the television show Supernatural...and the premise reminded me of Meet the Applegates...and in what world is EVERY man a shit??? Stupid!

Overall really good. It was an engaging read. Some complaints - it was a little long winded at times and some of the political/topical themes were shoved in your face a bit. But that’s kind of the Stephen King style.

I've always been a big fan of Stephen King, and even his less popular works were at least pretty good in my opinion. This, however....I couldn't get into this. I gave it three stars because Goodreads doesn't offer a 2.5 option.

I knew about 30 pages in that this was going to be excessively boring. I got this book right after it came out, and it's taken me all of this time to finish it. It literally took months because I kept reading 10 pages, then putting it down out of frustration. It did not need to be 700 pages long, first of all, nor did there need to be so many characters. It was annoying and at times sort of hard to follow.

I'm glad it's over, and I can move on with my life. Maybe it's not a Stephen King thing. Maybe it's an Owen and Stephen together thing that made this pretty much unbearable for me.

Well, that was disappointing. Usually, I get so invested in the characters that Stephen King creates that I'm just along for the journey and loving every minute of it. Here, I was bored and there were very few characters I cared about at all - and not that much.

I didn't like the underlying statement being made by this book - that men are bad and women are good; and if a woman is bad it is because of some SOB man that was in her life.

I really enjoyed the ride of the story. I had such a fun time reading. There were some awesome fates that befell a few wretched characters. After reading them, I imagined the authors nodding to me with a smile and women who felt like me high fiving or cheering.... LOL At any rate I enjoyed it. Don't know who I'd recommend it to other than my mate, but I would. I'm pretty satisfied with this being my first King.

Sleeping beauties has 3 parts!! Part one introduces the characters, and kinda drags everyone out. Part two is AMAZING!! From a man's perspective they did amazing deciphering how women feel. Ever women in this book is spot on! Part 3..... Trash... throw it out... don't read

Although this is not one of my favorite King books, I thoroughly enjoyed it. It's also interesting to see how this collaboration with his son compares to his other books. But, it's definitely an example of King not being great at endings.
