I thought the writing was really good. The author was able to bring in their audience and while the author creates emotional distance between the reader and themselves, it doesn’t feel like you’re disconnected. I appreciated being able to walk through all the changes/thoughts as they happened. I thought that was the most well done and what I appreciated the most about the book. I also appreciated the level of honesty in the story. Glad I read it and I’d recommend to others if you want to be able to understand more about the trans experience.

Super compelling. The author describes his path to coming to terms with his sexual orientation and gender identity within himself and in his relationships with others. There's a real messiness and everybody is doing their best quality to this book. Oliver Radclyffe seems like a good hang, and that is really material to my enjoyment of a memoir.
