I don't know if the narrator mispronounced words because she was trying to make the point that Madison thinks she is smarter than she really is, or if she just didn't bother to check words she didn't know.
The story sucked. The characters were all unsympathetic. And it isn't finished. This is part of a series and there is more to come of this torture porn grotesquery. I'm sorry I wasted time and money on it. I'm done with this author.

I read this book only because I bought it prior to reading Damned. In my opinion this book was worse than the first and the writing style (although meant to be from a child's perspective) was just too childish using words like "caa caa" constantly. It was a great concept but extremely poor execution on Palahniuk's part.

I’m ecstatic that I can finally mark this as read.
I was hoping there would be some big twist or OMG moment that would make reading this random mess worth it, but there wasn’t.
Damned was great, this sequel feels like a huge let down.

Aunque mejor escrita que la primera parte (Condenada), ya no tiene la misma gracia y encanto. Una historia floja, bien contada, pero floja al fin de cuentas.

Loved the first one, didn’t care much for this one. The first one was funnier and had a better structure/storyline. This one seemed a little all over the place.

I read about half of this book before giving up. Too gross, too stupid, too unreadable. Sad, too, because Chuck Palahniuk is one of my favorite authors. I'm very disappointed in this "effort."
