I picked up this book at a sidewalk sale at @downboundbooks a few months ago after overhearing other folks talking about it and my only regret is not reading it sooner.

I cannot describe this book to you because I don’t know any other book like it, but know that I laughed so hard I cried in part one, and my entire heart was shattered in part two.

Lockwood continues to deftly explore contemporary lives. A major text on
abortion and the erosion of reproductive rights in the US
& social media, in a style that never fails to find just the right word.

I really wanted to like this book, but now that I've read it I can't say that I did. I found the tropes in it interesting, but the writing style got in the way most of the time, making it very hard for me to follow. I understand that the style was supposed to match the narrative, but its chaotic structure combined with the numerous internet references made the book very inaccessible to me. Almost a DNF. For what it's worth, I think this is a good book, but I'm certainly not in its target audience.
