The story revolves around two characters, Haebom and Taesung, who have been living together since Haebom's mother passed away when he was a child. Haebom is a sentimental and emotional person, while Taesung is aloof and awkward. Despite their differences, they have a complicated relationship that's reminiscent of an "enemies to lovers" trope. The story takes place in school, where Haebom is bullied by a group of classmates. Taesung, however, occasionally protects Haebom in his own unique way. As they navigate their relationship, they face homophobia and the challenges of coming out as gay. The side characters in the story are also well-developed and relatable, particularly the common friend who has been supportive of their relationship from the beginning.
