pros:
i read it pretty quickly and it was funny and easy and super non-needy (what I needed after sally rooney). the leads are cute and grossly in love. i loved the fmc which is kinda rare but she was so happy and cool and it was really fun to read. also their banter *chef's kiss* god that's all I want in life.
cons:
i want to remove a star bche got off on her underwear w/o her consent and they weren't even together like if someone except the love interest did that I would burn him
last ka conflict was so ??not needed and like could've been better. it just felt very "for the sake of it".

Throughly enjoyed this book. Even though it's part of a rock star lifestyle you don't really see all that because Gabriel works on the backside. Even the band didn't seem overly engrossed in themselves. I like the attitudes between Sophie and Gabriel. They were fun and I never knew what she was going to say or he was going to do.
I have not even read the first book in this series and it didn't even bother me. So it a good stand alone but I'm sure there would be more enjoyment in seeing how they all were in the first book. A reread for sure!

5 sunshine & chatty girl stars!
Loved, loved, loved this one!
The first 3 chapters had me so thoroughly entertained with their first meeting and being trapped on an airplane together. The chemistry was instant even through there was animosity towards each other. The witty banter, sarcastic cuts to each other and snarky comebacks had me laughing out loud.
Sophie thinks that things are finally looking up in her world when she's bumped up to first class only to be seated next to Gabriel. She's on her way to London to interview with...you guessed it, the company that Gabriel works for and in turn, for the band Kill John. Their adventure continues while they both travel on the road with the band throughout Europe for a concert tour.
I loved Gabriel! He's so tightly wound, always needing to be in control of everything and not wanting anyone to see his weaknesses...ever.
I loved Sophie, she was strong, sarcastic and caring. I enjoyed watching her develop relationships with everyone in Kill John and enduring life on the road.
This book was a bit like a slow burn romance, which I always love to read. I loved the sexual tension between these two characters and wanted it to go on forever. I loved that they came to rely on each other even though it was the last thing either of them wanted.
A wonderful installment to the VIP series that I enjoyed so much more than [b:Idol|29541818|Idol (VIP, #1)|Kristen Callihan|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1463156270l/29541818._SY75_.jpg|49842522]. "Madam, if this death trap of a conveyance were hurtling toward the Earth in a fiery ball of doom, and your mouth on my cock was the last bit of sex I'd ever have the chance to receive, I'd take off my seatbelt and throw myself toward death."

Spoiler
After a night they were thrown together they came to realize that they needed each other to get any sleep. I love the codependency aspect that didn't involve sex."I am a cold man. Any happiness or warmth I've felt died when Jax tried to take his life. Until you." His ragged breath gusts over my cheek. "You are my warmth."
My heart stops, my breath hitching painfully.
His voice gains strength. "The second you are out of my sight, I want you back where I can see you."
