Drew Karpyshyn is a fantastic author. He packs more action into the first three chapters of this book than existed in entire 600 pages of Fatal Alliance. All while still building great characters.
This really felt like it belonged in the Star Wars universe. Empire vs Republic. Jedi vs Sith. One man against an army.
The only downside for me was the "dark side energy" powered ship. Not sure how they could figure that amazing technology out, but nobody else could replicate it in the ensuing 5000 years. Not to mention the fact that it was dark side only for some reason.
