Going to space, killing aliens, a lot of talk of the war of realms crossover a few years ago, and....a egg? Yeah, this is one weird ass issue. After 3 very impressive issues this is a weak link.
A fun beginning to a classic X-men space story. Since picking back up on reading these X-books, I'd been a little unsure of mixing all of the titles together. This one brought the reasoning back for me though, this story would be so odd coming right after the Crucible story of X-Men 7, instead playing out of references to the first New Mutants arc. So having it come right after the most recent New Mutants story worked real well. It was nice to see Broo (although I don't remember his deal, is he really a mutant in some way? How can he go through gates? I guess nonmutants can go through gates when invited or something, right?) I am excited to see where this one goes. Also, I especially liked the art, as it was not done by Leinil Yu.

Quindi abbiamo i Summers intenti a portare via l'uovo, gli Shi'Ar tirati in ballo tra Covata e Kree, i Nuovi Mutanti che sicuramente saranno coinvolti in qualche modo.
La cosa migliore dell'episodio però è che sembra essere l'inizio di qualcosa. E' l'inizio di qualcosa, per una volta dovremmo finalmente avere qualcosa che NON è un episodio autoconclusivo, ed era l'ora per questa testata che ormai è diventata antologica. Con begli episodi, eh, ma antologica.
Vediamo se arriva una svolta con qualche storia...

I do have questions though:
If a head injury caused Cyclops to need the visor and he's been resurrected, why does he still need the visor?
Vulcan: isn't he crazy? I know, I know, "Krakoa is for all mutants" but Omega level/crazy seems like a mistake. Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe the third Summers brother will be fine and that whole memory lapse thing is no big deal.

2,5/5. Well maybe trying a bit too hard here. This one goes in every possible direction. It got cheesy humor, action, a lot of characters, mostly not X-Men which is weird because you know... X-Men comic..., story evolution, a try at epic, lot of space stuff, lot of cross-overs from others series. Too much, not really well mixed, and the cross over can be great if you follow all of them, but kind of a pain if you don't know. Not a big fan of this issue!
