A fast-paced thriller that I really enjoyed.

I find Stephen King's books so very easy to read and this was no exception.
It's disturbing that the events in the book have parallels to real-world events that happened years after it was written.

i was pleasantly surprised by this book! i wasn't sure what to expect from a detective story from stephen king, but i ended up enjoying this much more than i thought i would. as always, the characters are fleshed out in interesting ways, and stand out more than anything else in a king story. the plot was interesting enough, and was tense— and, at times, genuinely surprising— enough to keep me hooked and paying attention. i put finders keepers on hold with the library to keep on going— don't let me down now, stephen!
