All the people suck on the straws and hold the grenades up in front of their faces.

These girl fighters are the opposite of humans in decay. They are accelerating away from death with speed and precision. Immortality wafts off of them. Even the dullest of the judges can feel that the girls are not quite human.

I liked this, but i found a lot of it circular and repetitive and the last chapter was disappointing. The writing was interesting and lyrical which i enjoyed but each character was given a motif that was really worn into the ground by the end and was a bit annoying.
While I understood the format, I simply did not like it. Too many First Last names. Underdeveloped characters. Weird writing. Despite being so short it took me 5 days to finish. Meh.
