This made me appreciate Paris for more than her iconic early 2000s lifestyle. She’s worked hard and struggled, even as a privileged heir. She was so raw. Thank you Paris!

This is such a considered book in so many ways. You can tell how difficult and yet important it is for Paris to share these stories and her truth. There are so many sections that ripped my heart out.

The cover is one of the most ill-fitted covers of perhaps all time.

4.5 after deducting half a star for the NFT et al propaganda and lack of accountability in some areas (primarily old racist remarks*)

*EDIT: She does actually acknowledge these and has regret, it just didn't register with me as an apology at the time, or got drowned out in all the other stuff. Look, who knows if this is part of the rebrand but it's obvious she's been THROUGH IT, so we should extend some kindness towards her journey out of it.

Some of the book felt like one big advertisement.

Do NOT DNF this book if you don’t enjoy the ADHD-focused intro. I almost did, then 2 audiobook hours later I was crying while shoveling snow on my driveway about how Paris speaks of her life and the people that got her there.

While I’m sure ghostwriters helped or were involved, there is so much of Paris’s intelligence, wit, and business savvy in these pages that tell so many vulnerable stories from her life. I knew her “that’s hot” character was a persona, but had no idea everything that was behind it. LOVED this book.
