Overall engaging read with incredible insight into the troubled teen industry and the world of fame. Sometimes a little disorienting due to the abrupt change of topic that comes with a "back-and-forth" style of storytelling. Also, run-on sentences galore, which was mostly okay but a little confusing from time to time. Main "issue" I had were certain topics around fame, wealth, and technology that felt a little out-of-touch, but definitely less of that than expected from a Paris Hilton memoir. Overall would recommend!

Paris shows herself as a brave woman, survivor, entrepreneur, and damaged soul. I regret hating her as an edgy kid. I still can't believe all the awful things that happened to her as a teen.

I decided to listen to this memoir on audiobook because I was interested in hearing her story, particularly about her experience with the "troubled teen industry" "schools" she was stuck at. I have never been a fan of hers but respect and recognize that she is a human being with a story like anyone else.

That being said, OMG like, I just can't with this. 🙄

Listening to her speak was a miserable experience. Her word choices and her voice are irritating.

I highly recommend you read an ebook/physical version of this, don't listen to it unless you absolutely love her.

Fame is a trauma (on top of so many other traumas), and Paris Hilton is an icon 💟
