I've heard of this book for quite awhile. The concept sounded interesting, but I was never particularly motivated to read it. I recently attended a webinar for work about questions that product teams should be asking their customers. The speaker included this book on his ready list. I was intrigued at the suggestion because it seemed completely unrelated to work. So I decided to read the book out of curiosity.
From a work perspective, I'm a bit fuzzy on the connection. The best I can see is how the author suggests observing your words and actions, and that of your spouse, to discern your love language. I can see how those suggestions can help you read between the lines to discern customer problems.
That aside, I thought this was a great read; one that all couples, no matter the state of their relationship, should read. I saw how past disappointments were rooted in speaking different love languages at the time. I see how this a fundamental issue in the relationships of some people close to me. Knowing our love languages can help us be better partners by knowing how to ask for what we need and what our partners need.

Very good book to help couples understand each other. Probably one of the easiest to read and shortest but useful books when you need help in your relationship.
I actually really like this book, and the Childrens Love Languages book and I read it every couple years.
