Good easy read. Not the target audience for it, but I was looking for something simple after binging 3 challenging books back to back. I do appreciate the accuracy of the teenage characterisation. The main sisters, and alone the school cast, are all unlikeable in one way or another, naive, and irrational. Very accurate depictions of teenagers.

This is a cute romance but it's heavily YA which I feel like in a contemporary format I have outgrown and I really struggled to get invested in the characters lives. It seemed a little ridiculous and too happenstance to me for me to think of this as a real life situation. 
I don't like situations hips even though I can occasionally get behind fake dating or enemies to lovers, this just wasn't it. I didn't connect with the characters and though I have heard great things about it, I just didn't like it as much as I wanted to when I was given the series as a set. 
I think if you love contemporary romance and Netflix it's a good fit, but only as the Netflix adaptation does it click and not as a book for the writing style, for me, or plot to be honest.
