I started buddy reading this with my friend less than a week ago, but it went by to fast! We just flew through this book! I found myself getting to our daily stopping point and wanting to read more! I haven't read very many contemporaries, but this book was a hit in my opinion. I Can't wait to see where this series goes!

This was exactly what I needed after not being able to settle on a book for a few weeks and after the last book I read was supersad (good but sad).

After reading The Summer I Turned Pretty trilogy, I really enjoyed this book from Jenny Han. I found the characters a lot more loveable and I found myself way more invested in the romance. I was rooting for certain things to happen and was happy with the ending. Particularly love Kitty's character, she was the voice of reason.
Total brain candy but I picked it up at the perfect time, just when I needed something lighter. I wish the book was a bit more uplifting; it definitely felt like pessimism rather than optimism toward life. I'm not sure if I want to continue the series, but I just might.
