I think I understood about 25% of this book, but I was enthralled enough that it felt like that didn’t even matter.
It was just weird. Very quick and spotty read. I don’t understand the world or what Blue and Red even are. Or what the overall goal of their missions were. Just an odd writing. It also gave a more Asian culture vibe that extra Confused me

This book took a lot of getting used to for me! I was confused for a fair amount of the beginning of the book, (I also don't typically read sci-fi, so that may have played a role in my confusion) but after I caught on it was much easier to read and I enjoyed it a lot more!

I hate time traveling and the time traveling genre in general. I also don’t like books where the whole point is for the reader to never understand the cryptic world the book takes place in. This book has all those.
But somehow the characters were so good and the writing was so beautiful that it somehow managed to mostly make up for my dislike of the genre? Did not know that was possible.
