It’s taken me so long to get to reading these books but I have to say I’m glad I finally did. There are countless people who can tell you about the merits of this book so I won't beat a dead horse but I will say that I thoroughly enjoyed it. The characters were fun and realistic. The problems just magical enough that they were captivating but without overpowering the story or seeming to unrealistic. An amazing book and I can’t wait to read the next one!

Dnf@50%…. I’ve never read Harry Potter and I really want to feel the passion others have towards this series. But I think I already pass the stage where I can enjoy middle grade fantasy… that’s sad.

”It does not do to dwell on dreams and forget to live”

I really enjoyed this reread! The one and only gripe I had when I read it in English for the first time was how hard it was to understand Hagrid but for some reason that didn’t bother me at all this time around.
There’ll always be a special place in my heart for the Harry Potter series, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world.

ok believe me when I say not giving this book five stars hurts my soul. but since it's my first time reading it in english all the hagrid dialogue made it sooooo difficult to read i love him but oh my god what is grammar.
anyway, i love it.

49. A book from someone else's bookshelf

10/10 | Revisiting it after more than a decade, I'm delighted to find it as enchanting and profound as ever—a masterpiece that transcends time.
