This is also an adult erotic read so if its not your preference you shouldnt read. Read the author's note first before reading to decided.

However, if you do decide to continue it is a great book about opposite personalities finding peace with each other. Both male leads have wit and charm but deal with thier own demons in hurtful ways. However, as they get to know one another, these enemies to lovers are a better fit than they ever could have imagined.

Honestly, I found this story enjoyable for what it was. Please note good is different enjoyable/compelling.

I really think that the characters could have been aged up five years and removed from college (it had no meaningful relationship and the Mafia (mafia royalty feels like the modern version of Cherokee princess).

Featuring a male SA survivor and the actual emotional toll of it was a choice I didn't expect and actually done well as someone who has worked with SA survivors of all genders.

Yep. I was right. I knew this book would take a the cake. Easily my favorite out of all the rina kent books i’ve read.niko and brandon were bound to my favorites after their first mention.

Listen. This book is fine but I think it could have been 100-200 pages shorter. The writing in Nikolai’s chapters was almost unbearable at the beginning as the author was really trying to hammer home that he’s a “bad boy” who cusses a lot and talks about his dick. I think Nikolai being the heir to the Bratva brought that point home and the general immaturity of this character and language was unnecessary. This probably makes me sound like a prude but I can only read “fuck you right the fuck off” so many times on one page.
