It’s hard to adequately put in to words how much I loved this book. This was my first MM romance and…my god. Niko and Brandon are so special and deserve everything and more.

Niko was hilarious. Who would’ve thought the man that scares everyone with his presence when he walks in to a room would be such an obsessed, goofy, gold retriever. He wouldn’t take no for an answer and adored Bran with everything that he has. He literally counted Bran’s eyelashes every night. He’s unhinged but in the best way.

Bran. Oh sweet baby Bran. His POV chapters made me cry on more than one occasion. The mental health representation was done so well. He is the strength and guidance for his friends but on the inside, struggled to find any self worth. I was rooting for him from the very beginning. The push and pull of their relationship was a lot, but I think it was pretty accurate for someone who was struggling as much as Bran was.

I had so much comedic relief during this book with Niko, the Heathens, and Landon. Omg the Landon portions at the end make me cry too. But the way I gasped towards the end and could not stop crying after that….

I felt so many emotions reading this book. I will for sure reread this as another comfort book/audiobook moving forward.

Quotes/Moments I loved:
“To the ones who scream in silence” (dedication)

"You're a fucking nightmare,"
"Your nightmare."
"I hate you."
"I don't."
"You're fucking crazy."
"About you,"

"Is there a way I can get rid of you?"
"If I die, maybe. Scratch that, I'll haunt the fuck out of you until you join me, my Prince Charming."

"Even if you hate yourself, I'll love you for the both of us."

"Because I never wanted a prince. I prefer an unhinged motherfucker."
"Hey! That's me!"

“Just don't leave me, please."
"Not even if you beg for it.”

Wow…. Just wow
