A beautiful book with a beautiful ending. 4 stars out of 5 because this one didn’t grip me the way Firefly Lane did.

Such a heartwarming story. This story gives insight into the ripple effect of a family member dying but also how one person can bring so many together. Had me in tears from beginning to end. Absolutely love this novel!

Too much darkness.

I still love this story but the reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was that it repeated so much of the first book so it was kind of repetitive and made it slightly boring to read directly after reading the first book.

Fly away was a very endearing sequel to Firefly lane. The passage of time and the development of our favorite characters followed a very believable arch and I was not disappointed in this storytelling. I again was swept away with the love story between two best friends and the people who they loved. This wasn't as emotionally charged as the first novel but I still like where they ended things. Kristin Hannah remains my favorite author ❤️

The themes of depression and self harm were too much for Ms to handle in this moment. I would like to come back and finish this in the future.
