An important book, but honestly not a very interesting read.
This is probably because of his much I've read about the history of Palestine and the creation of Israel, and there's really no new ground for me.
I did in parts also think that some of the arguments were a little half backed and sometimes even sidelined. Also since reading this I have heard of stories that could have been used well within this book but weren't, that would have added some much needed intrigue.

So good it made me depressed. Insightful and cutting.

I am trying to educate myself on this topic. It's a nice synopsis of the events up to about 2023. However from a non history background the material is laid out somewhat non chronologically because of the sections organisation of myths. Perhaps if you already know the timeliness of events the book is more impactful but for me a little confusing. Still though an informative read, the sooner the genocide becomes history rather than a very real present for the Palestinians the better.

I've been reading more books about Palestinian history to establish foundational knowledge in relation to what's happening now. I think those on a similar journey and picking up this book will likely learn something new; however, if you've read other books in this vein, this likely will not be anything groundbreaking or new.
I appreciate attempting to make this information more digestible by breaking it into ten concepts/myths/sections of history. However, I felt like the presentation was too dense and unclear.
