Loved that Hades is partly a softy. Very thought out characters but be nice if they had bit more depth to them. I'm a huge fan though.

I will say I did enjoy this Volume better than the first one. I enjoyed seeing the progression of Hades and Persephone's relationship and everyone's reaction to it. I liked how they acknowledge the age gap and they're being careful about it. Hades may be a powerful being but for Persephone, he is so soft for her and I love to see it. Check for trigger warnings for sure. Can't wait to continue the series soon!

Super cute! Getting more into the story and the characters with this one - and the art - I just can’t

i love lore olympus so much. it’s so comforting for me to read. since i originally read the entire comic on webtoon it’s really interested for me to compare the two formats and the impact that the different formats have. i’m pretty sure i said this in my review for volume 1, but i do think that some emotional impact is lost in the formatting of the physical volumes. there’s so much more beauty and intensity in the panels when you read them on webtoon because they all blend together and are a continuous scroll.

i will also say that since my initial reading i’ve seen some critical assessments of the comics and some of the problems within them. rereading has definitely pointed some of those out to me.
