What I liked
- Dialogue is fun, witty, and clever
- Flirting game that ran throughout the book. It made the sexy parts WAY hotter
- Court Intrigue is fun, esp the relationships between the princess of sin
- The book is a game/tournament/challenge plot line, and the contest is well crafted
What I didn't like
- It's a long book, which I don't really mind. It makes it a slower read, but it also doesn't feel like it drags anywhere. I did reach chapter 69, which I thought was the last one, and was like "Ha! Ending on 69!" But I was wrong, and there were about 5 more chapters that I did kind of think we didn't need :D
- Some of the courts of sin have a backdrop of lots of people having public sex, and that ceased to shock or charm me in any way a loooooooong time ago
This is the first of the series, and I will probably not continue right away because it was a LOT of emotional whiplash, and I need to go read a rom com for aftercare or something
