If you like hilarious yet clueless frat bros discovering all the ways they can “help a bro out,” have I got the novella for you.

Bro Jobs is just the perfect novella/prequel to their new series. Did I devour it like the tasty snack it is? Yes. Did I immediately start book 1? Oh, hell, yes. If this newsletter gift was designed to entice readers to their new series, it worked like gangbusters on me.

Scout is not excited to have to share a room with house manager Trey, as he’s known to be pretty meticulous. But he’s better than the alternative. While Scout is pretty reserved, he and Trey get to know each other as roommates, particularly when certain late-night activities are hard to disguise. But maybe they can help each other out with that … difficult situation? But one night quickly turns to more regular and more intense encounters. Have they become more than just bros?

I loved clueless and grumpy Scout. This novella was just a damn delight, filled with snark and steam and real sweetness (Trey is the best and has the patience of a saint). Definitely recommend.

Loved it! Wished there were more of them, would really like to get more from Scout, but then again - he’s a really private and introvert person. I loved him and Trey toghether though. They were adorable and it was fun to see where they started after reading the first book in this series.

A cute and short novella. Wouldn’t have minded to read more of them, i.e. a full length novel. Scouts feelings about relationships (him thinking earlier that he might have been somewhere on the ace spectrum) would have been a theme I really would have liked to explore more.

3.75 stars.

Sweet enjoyable prelude novella to the Alpha Tau series.
Scout and Trey seamlessly go from roommates to bros to boyfriends. There’s no angst, just bros being bros!
