This was a cute, light read. The FMC isn't a pushover, she stands up for herself and goes for what she wants in a relationship. The MMC has his demons and lures her under false pretences, but quickly becomes a big fluff ball for our FMC. I also liked that their relationship grew over time, no insta-love. And the kits were adorable :-)

The tail!!

First of all: the tail!
Second of all: this book was flippin' awesome. A friend gifted me a copy with a high recommendation. I really enjoyed Merit and Kalini (Kalini Patel- I thought I was a smart cookie when I wrote a short story with this same name 2 years ago, great minds think alike). But seriously, its amazing. You won't be disappointed.

**Borrowed audiobook from my library's Hoopla service**

This was another enjoyable entry in the multi-author Celestial Mates series. I like the futuristic take on mail-order brides. This story would probably be considered low drama since most of the tension comes from the hero and heroine adjusting to each other and not outside forces like a murder mystery. There is sex but not so much as to become repetitive and boring.

Listening to the audio version made the action sequences exciting for me rather than something to skim past, which I often do when reading in print. Both the male and female reader did a good job reading the children and the opposite sex without making them annoying.
