I really enjoy these books even though they're tearjerkers. Every time I read one I tell myself I'm not going to tear up, and every single time at least one of the stories gets to me. This time there were no super painful parts but I definitely teared up a couple of times. I just wish I could remember the names of our past characters and their stories a little better from book to book, to enhance that emotional impact when they're mentioned again.

Thought this was definitely stronger than the previous book in the series. The second and third stories wrecked me. The last story was great too but i think Kawaguchi should’ve switched the order with 3 & 4 to end on the better story.
