Very atmospheric, place was a character and set the tone. Felt like a fever dream, one I don’t particularly remember well after just a week or two. I enjoyed it as I was reading it, though! Good if you want a well written, quiet book.

This book took me quite a while to get into, but I’m glad I pushed on and finished it.

The final 1/3 of the book was by far the best and I liked that it tied together a lot of seemingly meaningless points from the start of the book.

I enjoyed the complexity of the female characters and I think that this book was a good character study.

The authors writing style is very unique and enchanting and I know that some lines from the book will really stick with me.

Overall, the ending saved the rest of the book for me and I enjoyed it.
