This book is for people that have a complicated relationship with their parent(s). I enjoyed the slow, winding pace of everything happening around the character.

My second Deborah Levy book and certainly my last. I didn’t enjoy her other one and this one is no improvement. Was fooled by the allure of a very intriguing looking Mubi trailer for the film version, but when I looked on Letterboxd it turns out everyone hates the film too?? Sooo not worth my time I probably won’t even watch the film now. 

Really struggling to understand what people enjoy about her books they are so incredibly dull.
