All spice, no flavour.

Unfortunately, this fell SO flat. I was really excited about the premise but ended up so bored half way through.

It was insta-love, into stockholm syndrome, back to some sort of soul mate thing? It didn’t feel genuine.

The darker themes were, again, good in theory but got overtaken by the poorly executed “romance” elements.

The writing style and quotes were good, just not for me!

Mmmm…. Didn’t love this. A lot of loose ends/didn’t make sense & wtfs
I didn’t dislike it enough to DNF, but I could’ve gone without. I don’t know if I’ll read the rest of the series… still considering. Are they all based on different fairytale villains….. bc I’m curious.. and I heard Hexed was incredible… okay I might.

Would you like a side of plot with your smut? If yes, this is fabulous for dark romance readers. I usually don’t like dark dark but this one does it well and in a less creepy way. It’s still creepy but sexy creepy.
