Although the characters were well fleshed out and seemed familiar, they and the storyline didn't quite hold my attention.

Ik vond het erg fijn lezen en ik vond het leuk dat alle levens met elkaar verbonden zijn.

Really cool story! I loved the way the different perspectives felt so very distinct and really enjoyed the way they all came together at the end. It got me right in the feelings several times too!

Maybe this would’ve been more interesting if I had kept better track of all the characters - as is the different stories weren’t very compelling to me.

I liked this style of writing a lot! Felt like the ending was very abrupt though

Dystopia, and a coming of age novel for all ages.
Beautifully written and visually intriguing.
Not every one can pull off a novel full of short story's that interconnects and entwines all the characters in rapid succession through time. Coming for a girl that hates reading short stories, Jennifer Egan is stunning at including all things I require in a good novel, interesting writing style, content based on music and life, and sad moments mixed with joyous moments. My new number one favorite book of all time.
