3.4 AVERAGE

medium-paced

I normally love Natasha Preston’s books but this one just was not it for me.

I already figured out all the twists and it just felt so slow. I also felt like there wasn’t much emotion during the deaths. Just overall fell flat.

I don’t know how I feel about this. It wasn’t bad very good but I have so many thoughts swirling right now. I do have to say *spoiler* it was nice that the first one to ‘die’ wasn’t the killer.

⭐️⭐️⭐️

not a genre i typically reach for, but pretty good! it took a while to get to the good parts of the plot (about 60% of the book), but when it picked up it really did pick up. really good plot twists, kept you guessing the entire time. and the last line .... cmonnnnn!!!!

only critiques were that the story felt a little redundant at times. it took a little too long to get to the thick of the story and i felt like i was waiting for something to happen but reading the same conversations over and over.

good thriller, good plot twists, overall good story. not super duper memorable, but pretty good all the same!
