This is a weird one because it’s totally unlike his other two books. I figured it would be My two beloved curmudgeon characters that end up with a baby left on their doorstep or something. But he actually steals the baby! From that point forward I just couldn’t get past how terrible that was for the family all just on an impulsive, idiot move, and so nothing was really as funny to me. I just kept thinking how terrible it was for the parents and ended up falling out of love with my previously loved curmudgeons!
