I read this for the podcast with Maisie. Super fun and a classic for a reason. Got lost in the sailing and pirate jargon a fair bit, so not recommended for those who feel like they need to understand every single word to enjoy a story.

i don't know why i considered this book one of my favorites for so many years. all the adaptations were epic but actually reading this was very hard. i only managed it as an audiobook read by jasper britton, he's expressive.
