SO FUN! Surprisingly loved it! U really get swept into the lives of the girls. However I did not like the ending bc joe’s love interest felt so forced but I take no stars away bc ik that’s not Louisa’s fault! :((

I forgot how LONG this book is?? Revisiting the first book to ever make me cry for the first time since I was like seven years old was really delightful. I’ve always been a Beth and Jo girl and that remains the same. But. Amy is growing on me.

This reread made me appreciate Gerwig’s adaptation all the more. The genius of splicing timelines and the revised ending. Ugh. Cheers to Little Women, past and present.
