This book had me sobbing the entire time. A personal narrative story about a boy who experience the Auschwitz’s concentration camp and his memories of the terrible experience he underwent. Truly such an important read about the Jewish people in WW2.

“The days resembled the night and the night left in our souls the dregs of their darkness.”

Agonizing story, and a haunting ending. Eli’s writing of it is a profound offering to this world.

This is a book that was written by a man in the Holocaust. Elie wrote about the tortures of the concentration camps. It was a very sad book and it really gives you a different perspective. I believe everyone should get a chance in their life to read this book. It is really worth your time.
