It's a slow burn romance but totally worth it. The way Rhodes treated Aurora is just so sweet. Every time I see the word 'angel' and 'buddy' I just can't stop smiling.

In my opinion maybe this story could be shorter, too much inner talk that did not add much to the story to be honest and made it difficult to follow as well the timeline sometimes I got lost.
The time always passed on a blink of the eye I think there is another ways to say it.
I like slow burn romances but this one was the slowest that I read seriously.

Aurora was so relatable and it was funny watching her adapt from her past life in the city to being in Pagosa again. Her relationship with Amos was one of my favorite things hands down, if not the best. And Rhodes… omg what a DILF. He also was soooo sweet to her. And let me say: Aurora was clueless, mister was calling her “angel” to her face and she thought it was because he got her name wrong :/ I MEAN OPEN YOUR EYES SWEETHEART
There were some heavy aspects thrown in there but they were all treated well.
