The beginning of the book was a little bit slower of a start than I wanted/expected but the pace picked up as we moved along the story. I knew it was a slow burn but I feel like it took a long time for the two characters to officially get together. I appreciated the maturity of the relationship and how the two characters had mutual understandings of each other and what they needed/wanted.

 idk if i had way too much expectations on this book or what happened that it just wasn't as incredible as i thought it would be
the characters and their love story were so unic untill they got togheter, and then turned into teenagers in love
idk it got really boring really fast after that
i'm sad 'cause i was trully hoping for a good ending to the couple's story

Honestly this one fell flat for me. I skimmed a lot of it. Maybe just the timing or the writing but it felt like a lot of words. It was fine.

I like a slow burn and even the single dad trope but this was just not it for me. I did like Amos. Amos was great!
