This was a fun read, but I didn't really like the writing style and the characters were underdeveloped. Shane was very sweet but didn't really have much of a personality. I was hoping for some more '80s touches, like slang, pop culture, and clothing descriptions, but there really wasn't much about this that felt '80s. Also, they kept bringing up that Shane wanted to be tied up and Elle really wanted to tie him up only for there never to be a scene where that actually happens.
