I absolutely loved this book and felt like I couldn't put it down. When I did, I couldn't stop thinking about how much I wanted to read more. I hope this book gets turned into a duology! I'd love to see these two characters, Rex and Carli go through senior year or better yet, college together! The only thing I didnt personally like about this book was the "love at first sight" trope, but overall, I give this book at 4.1/5!

*Thank you to Edelweiss & Greenwillow Books for the eArc*
3.5 stars. I just couldn't get behind the insta-love between the two main characters. Rex comes across more than a little stalker-y, and neither of them had any business being in a relationship with everything else going on! Also Cole needs to learn some digital literacy skills, like don't post your sister's room # on Instagram! These things bothered me enough that I just didn't get into this. That said, teens will likely enjoy this because of the messy relationships and issues in all the main characters' lives.

A Winner

There was so much sadness packed into these pages, but it still managed to be a sweet story. Rex and Carli seemed to be made for each other. I loved the way they were able to see the best in each other. I wasn’t expecting the heaviness of deceased mothers and disappointing fathers, but it added some realness to the story. This book was very well written. It felt satisfying to get lost in this story.

A quick and easy YA read. Typical teen drama misunderstanding. Enjoyable, but not an especially exciting read.
