An inventive style of magic that intermingles with romance and suspense well. I couldn’t quite keep track of everyone at the main house, but I could easily follow the protagonists and I finished the book needing more.

I listened to this in audio form, and it just didn't grip me the way I wanted it to. I found myself zoning out and then losing track and I was just so confused. The parts of the story I did listen to seemed really great, I just think for me I should've read it physically in order to get the full enjoyment.
