Great book! I LOVE Mr. Knightley! And I love him in the 1996 movie version with Gwyneth Paltrow and Jeremy Northam!Excellent, excellent adaptation! Totally recommend it! And there is another version also made in 1996 with Kate Beckinsale and Mark Strong. (I'm putting the actress and actor who played Emma and Mr. Knightley because I don't know who would actually be the most recognizable! :P) But I don't think it's nearly as good as the other one! Mr. Knightley (Mark Strong) is just mean in it!

There were moments of enjoyment or surprise, but for the most part I felt there was a lot of words describing not a lot of plot. I understand why it would have been popular -  a look into high society and multiple miscommunication tropes along with secrets being held by multiple characters, but just not for me in today’s age.
