I’ve been wanting to read this book for ages but for some reason I didn’t. But now I’m here because my fav fanfic author is gonna write a modern adaptation of this and I was like: time to catch up hahahahaha.

I think my favorite Austen so far. Although as usual what is up with the age difference between the lead and love interest.

I loved the ensemble and plot though. Definitely see myself returning to this in the future.

This is the first time I’ve read Emma and I’m so glad that I listened to the audiobook version. I love how the narrator brought Emma to life. Even though Emma is such a frivolous, somewhat selfish and self-centered young girl, her heart is in the right place. You get to follow her growth and see how she slowly becomes more mature emotionally and mentally. The story made me frustrated at times, but it’s just such a fun and entertaining read. I know that I will enjoy it more as I reread the book through the years. Not quite as good as Pride and Prejudice, but still a great book.

Enjoyed the audible production of Emma, though I have to say she’s not among my favorite Austen heroines
