I love the boys of Tommen and the girls so much - also Kavs fam, legends

The way I was able to get so attached to the characters and understand them even the ones whose pov weren’t in these books… amazing writing

I know Joey’s books might crush me with everything he’s been through - but I have to cause I miss them

I wish I had this kind of friend group both growing up and now.

It’s very emotionally intense for like 80% of the book, like trying not to cry on the train after work kinda intense. Maybe that’s also why I enjoyed it so much, even if I had to take breaks sometimes - cause the feels man.

Love these characters “for keeps”

Not as good as the first one, but that's just because that's so hard to follow up. I really like how the author handled so many things in the story: virginity and sex, fostering, freedom in teenage years, confidence in yourself and your decisions, grief, friendship, mental health, etc. It was a YA book that while the overall plot conditions different feel realistic the characters and their reactions and emotions, did. I can definently see it resonating, heck it resonated with me now.

Even though I was expecting some of the plot points I still cried, screamed, and was totalled pulled along for the ride.

I was nervous on how she was going to be able to wrap it all up together. Shannon's past, Johnnie's future. But I am stasfied and happy for them and all their people.

Love the banter but sometimes it just draaaags on and on in circles and repeats the same thing over and over again, kind of exhausting
