So so funny and shockingly poignant in a few parts.

A single, solo-traveling woman, looking for love but running from it at the same time. Picked up the book because she’s a screenwriter for two of the only sitcoms I find funny (how I met your mother and that 70s show) and was taken on quite the adventure. From the fun of vacationships to the loneliness of Match.com to a happy ending, this was just what I needed to read

A fun solo travel memoir about the importance of getting in a plane by yourself and seeing the world.

All of her adventures were very girlboss and I’m a big fan of solo traveling. However it was very much white women in foreign country privilege.

So ready to go travel alone after reading this book. I loved the book and her love for travel and adventure.

This book was okay for me. It was interesting to hear some travel stories that are TOTALLY different from my own, and about some countries that I haven't been to, but there were no "aha" moments for me, and some of the humor wasn't to my taste. However I think I related to the author a bit in that we are/were very independent young women. (read for the Book Riot 2017 Read Harder challenge - read a travel memoir)
